Modest Proposal for 2006

It is easy to lament at times like these the absence of a parliamentary system in the U.S. Since we're not about to get one any time soon, I propose adding this simple question to every 2006 ballot.

Shall President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard (Dick) B. Cheney be removed from office for crimes against humanity and failure to uphold their oaths of office?

That would give the people a chance to be heard, and since Bush believes in the power of democracy, why should he refuse to stand before it?

You are expecting the Dubya to voluntarily surrender to be punished? Because he speaks a lot of democracy? Remember he's a god sent to humanity, I presume to punish us.
